Privacy Policy

Doz Defteri is a local-first medication tracking and reminder app built around privacy as a principle. This policy is short, because there isn't much to tell: we do not collect your data.

What data do we collect?

None. Doz Defteri has no servers; there are no accounts, no e-mail sign-up, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. Everything you enter (medications, doses, intake history, notes, doctors, appointments) is stored only in the database on your own device and never leaves it.

How do we use permissions?

• Camera: Used only to scan the barcode on a medication box and, if you choose, to photograph the box. Images are never sent anywhere; box photos are stored on your device.
• Notifications: Medication and appointment reminders are scheduled entirely on-device; no push servers are involved.
• Photos: Accessed only if you choose to pick a photo of a medication box.

Purchases

The Pro purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple/Google; we never receive card details, names or addresses. Purchase status is stored on your device and verified with the store.

Backup and transfer

The "Export My Data" feature in Settings creates a single file, and you alone choose where it goes (e.g. your own cloud drive). The file is never sent to us; who you share it with is entirely under your control.

What is the internet used for?

All core features work offline. The internet is used only when you tap the "Leaflet" button, which opens a web search for the medication name in your device's browser.

Children's privacy

Since Doz Defteri collects no data, it collects no data from children either.

Data deletion

Because all data lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. You can also delete medications and records individually inside the app.

Changes

Any changes to this policy will be published on this page. If our no-data-collection principle ever changes (for example, an optional backup service in the future), we will clearly announce it in the app and ask for your consent.
